Thanks Carmen. It still brings tears to our eyes to think about. We miss him tremendously. Thanks to all of the good pawrents like you here at Tripawds, we feel a great sense of comfort knowing how much he has helped people.

I just read this, but had to say that the picture of Wyatt picking the name out of the hat was priceless! He looks like he takes his job as seriously as Holly takes her job of guarding the big, cold cheese box in the kitchen. Love it!

Just wanted to let you know I can’t post any replies in the forums… I’ve tried posting to Sue (Dane Mom) and in the forum upgrade, and a response to Jack’s bloodwork thread. When I click on “post reply” nothing happens – it doesn’t hang, since I can go to other forums and blogs, but it doesn’t bring up the box for me to post my reply in. I can read the forums, though. I can (obviously!) post comments on blogs, which is good! I’ve tried logging in anew to see if that helped, but it didn’t. I figured I’d mention it here – you’re probably already aware of this, but just in case…

At any rate, this is a pawsome site!

Anna, we're so sorry. I know that it's hard to cope with, but things will get better. There are lots of great suggestions for helping dogs to feel better when they're experiencing phantom leg pain after amputation. Come over to the Discussion Forums and search for "phantom pain," you will find tons of suggestions there (asking your doc to prescribe Gabapentin is a good start). Good luck, hope to see you there.

my dog had amputation of front limb just last wenesday,and after the doctor took off her bandage yesterday she’s been crying when her muscle on amputated limb is twitching,very often(every 15 min) pleace tell me what i can do for her…
