2 Dogs 2000 Miles has just announced the 13 pinup pups for the 2009 “Cancer Can’t Keep A Good Dog Down” Calendar. Wow! What an incredible outpouring of generosity and love, thank you to everyone who submitted their heartfelt stories and photos, and a great big thanks for the many, many donations everyone contributed.
What an honor it is for me to be included in this tribute. My Mom and Dad and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your donations. We are astounded that I made it in, because since my parents aren’t working right now, we are on a tight budget and could only donate $20 to the cause. What a surprise it was to see that $483 more dollars came in for my story, without any solicitation.
With Princess Daisy garnering more than $1000 in donations, I consider that an incredible outpouring of support from the Tripawds community. Thank you all so, very very much.

I think congratualations are in order for ALL the dogs who participated in this “Cancer Can’t Keep a Good Dog Down” calendar for 2009. Whether the dog made it onto the cover, or inside the calendar, they’re ALL winners in my book and it’s unfortunate that the pages couldn’t be shared by two or three dogs, so everyone would be able to tell the story of their courageous dogs and what they meant to the lives of the people they lived with.
CONGRATULATIONS Jerry!!!! So proud of you. You are definitely an inspiration to all of us.
