I recently adopted a tripawd Chihuahua named Lt. Dan from my vet. He was brought in as a stray with an untreated broken leg and the doctors were unable to save it. Poor little guy is only 8-10 months old. He's had several "screaming" episodes, usually when he gets up and the worst one was yesterday. Fortunately, my vet has prescribed gabapentin for him so hopefully he won't have any more pain. I’m so glad I found this site! I recently adopted a tripawd Chihuahua named Lt. Dan from my vet.
